Ashlyn Metheny has been wowing audiences since the tender age of eight with a flare and confidence far beyond her years. At age 14, she won the Colgate Country Showdown, and If you visit the Arkansas/Oklahoma State Fair, the Old Fort Days Rodeo, or the Greenwood Fourth of July Freedomfest, you'll find her charming the grandstands with a main stage prime-time set each year. She has opened for the national acts Montgomery Gentry, John Michael Montgomery, Billy Dean,John Anderson, Buddy Jewell, Ricochet, Andy Griggs, John Conlee, TJ Shepherd, and Bobby Bare and has inspired audiences at numerous charity and social events throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Ashlyn is a feature artist on several international radio broadcasts such as The Southern Star Network and Soldiers Speak Radio. She was recently invited to entertain the servicemen and families at Ft. Knox, a performance that was truly meaningful for Ashlyn as she had written and recorded a song dedicated to the loved ones of soldiers over seas only days before. When she envisions her future, Ashlyn sees herself creating the kind of music that touches everyone who hears it.
