I have unconditional love for the Arts and Music.
I'm originally from beautiful Tulip City, Holland, MI. I am finishing up my last semester at Saginaw Valley State University where I'm studying Art/Design and Photography and am transferring this coming semester to Grand Valley State University where I will continue to study Art & Design.
I've always loved photography in ways I don't think I could describe. I still see myself in the learning stages, but I would love love love someday to have my own studio/gallery and be able to travel the world [Ireland] and share it with others through photography.
How many moments go by in a lifetime, with no evidence that, that “moment” existed, that that “moment” indeed transpired? “Truth-telling is the promise of a photograph — as if fact itself resides in the optical precision with which photography reflects the way we see the world. A photograph comes as close as we get to witnessing an authentic moment with our own eyes while not actually being there” Essay: Icons as Fact, Fiction and Metaphor by Philip Gefter.
I only wish to share with you a piece of a moment that I was able to experience. It is to give substance to a moment, to make a moment matter.
