I am 20 years old, a photography major at Purchase College.

I shoot with a cambo 4x5 and  Bronica ETRS

I feel that to fully understand photography you must work from the ground up. If you've never developed your own film and had the smell of fixer soaked into your finger tips then you'll never be able to appreciate the hard work it takes to produce a photograph. You have to be able to create what you see with your hands, taking the mishaps, the mistakes, the scratched negatives and turn it all into knowledge. Making yourself a master of capturing what your eye sees.
