Johnny Wright -- manager of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, *NSync, Backstreet Boys and many others -- has joined forces with YOBI.tv to sign the winner of Take the Stage to a music management contract!

Take the Stage will follow ten finalists from the YOBISing singing contest as they are flown to Detroit, Michigan for a crash-course in the music industry. Wright, along with a well-known recording artist (yet to be announced) and various other industry professionals, will mentor these aspiring singers and put them through challenges that will prepare them to be the world’s next breakout stars.

Take the Stage is a non-scripted contest that lets singers and songwriters compete for contracts ranging from $2,000 to $20,000 by showcasing their talent and original music.

What’s Take The Stage all about?

Take the Stage provides the first-ever opportunity for singer-songwriters to increase their visibility, maximize their exposure as artists, and be discovered by an unbiased online global audience.

Contestants will be featured in a variety of challenges alongside industry professionals who will coach and mentor them as they perform their original songs and prepare to be the next breakout artist.

These performances, original songs, music industry challenges, and behind the scenes preparations will appear in a number of Take the Stage episodes.

The global audience of YOBI.tv members -- and not industry insiders -- will decide who wins $20,000 and a life-changing music management contract!

When will Take The Stage begin?

Take the Stage is tentatively scheduled to be filmed sometime in early 2012.

You bet there will! We'll be announcing who it is soon, so stay tuned!
