Ranted & Raved: More psychedelia... on the road... from our late-summer road trip, this is a combination of shots (with my usually weird effects), combined with another improvisational (processed) guitar-synth solo. When we take road trips I, for some reason, always get introspective, and in this particular case (after a spring and summer of being sick from cancer treatment) I probably drove my girlfriend crazy with my various ranting and raving.

Out With The Old: Another thing we tend to do quite a bit on the road, which some people may find morbid, is to visit cemetaries. For me it's an interesting look into the history of the area, and you'd be surprised how much you can learn about an area just from reading names and dates on graves. Local founders, street and city names, etc. and the history about who fought in what wars and so on. Life constantly moves forward regardless of death, but those who came before us serve as a reminder of how societies and geographical areas are shaped, and that nothing and no one lasts forever.
