Reaching Out To Somewhere & The Final Leap Into Darkness by Joe Destruction

Something new and something old... Reaching Out To Somewhere: We all have a desire to be heard, to communicate with someone other than the voices of our own consciences, to reach out to anywhere and feel that are part of it all. This song is a musical and visual tour seeking connection, from country to city and beyond, yearning for understanding and connection. The Final Leap Into Darkness: This is a tribute to my friend and band mate Jereme, who unfortunately did not make it past age 19. He was one of those truly remarkable people that was able to make friends with almost anyone, had a real impact on those he knew and met, and someone that is still remembered and missed by many to this day. When he died 1994 the spirit of the band pretty much died with him. There was an attempt to carry on but it was never the same. The song/video is a ponderance of what happens to us after we make that final leap into darkness, when death comes to us as it will to everyone, and what may or may not be past that threshold. The music for this piece is actually from those old garage band days. It was a free-form jam which I edited and added enhancement and sound effects to (the original recording was on a mono cassette tape so I remixed it to give a fake stereo feel and added other various sounds.) I've done a video for this twice before, the first being one my first attempts and a fairly basic video, the second was OK but not quite as psychedelic visually as I thought it should be, and the audio needed a bit more tweaking. Thanks for taking the time... Joe Destruction http://www.YouTube.com/JoeDestruction
