Week 14 Semifinalist

Its great to have 'Would You' in this years semi finals. It's particularly rewarding as it was done with no budget and the effort of all those who gave up their time has now been rewarded. I am currently working at 2AM Films and being part of a company with Wim Wenders as a signed Director is an inspiration for my future work. 

Most recently I have worked in advertising so I learnt about the importance of the idea behind anything. I aim to create work that answers more than what is asked of it. Pushing the idea to its creative max to make something new/never been seen before that will leave a lasting impression on the viewer.

I have made 3 things since deciding to make short films.

‘Would You?’ was a Straight 8 film premiered at Cannes Lions in 2008 which was a great start. ‘Luck’ was made with no budget again for the Smoke and Mirrors 48 hour film challenge. I have just completed Unattached for Straight 8 this year and am awaiting the result. 

I would like my work to allow me to make a living from it.

At the moment I am finding new opportunities to make more films.

Description

Watch and ask yourself - would you? A short film shot on Super 8 and edited in camera for the Straight 8 Film Competition 2008. Screened at the Straight 8 premier at Cannes Lions.
