the intentions of your film are good but there is too much talking... it was like an essay that you went out and shot a few scenes to read it over. and take a break from reading it for a bit... let the images sink in. otherwise it will be hard for the viewer to really get what you want to say.

Fantastic. I loved every moment of it. Great music and voice-over.

Brilliant theme and voice over, however film lacked in the visual elements. A film with just voice over needs to have a strong and powerful visuals to impact the viewers and also the gaps that have no voice and just sound effects. But a great film still.

Not bad but i have a few problems with it. The main one i have is the voice over, sure it's nice sounding and maybe arty or whatever you want to call it but it is telling too much of the story. Film is a VISUAL medium and when a whole characters journey is told through a voice over then its just lazy film making. With feature films voice over is generally used well, but in a short film where you only have about 5 minutes to tell a story, a voice over is just the easy way out. The second problem i had was that the main character wasn't in anyway likable, all she ended up doing was complaining about people using their mobile phones or something. If the character was old, and it was set on her balcony as she physically watched youths as they passed by then that would be a compelling visual story. Sorry if this sounds harsh or if this comment is too long, I just see that you're a finalist and thought i'd give my opinion.
