Week 2 Semifinalist

Mike Anderson has been seen at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and heard on XM Satellite radio.  He’s also the winner of the STARZ "Stand Up Now" Comedy Competition.

Mike decided at the early age of five that he wanted to become a stand up comedian. He started following that lifelong dream as a teenager, but soon found himself chasing a career in the broadcast industry. After spending six years as a TV news reporter at multiple stations on both sides of the country, he decided the time to pursue his dream was long overdue.

Aside from being a funny guy, Mike is a husband and father of two girls. He enjoys comedy and playing the guitar, but he finds writing about himself in the third person to be a bit pretentious, which is why this bio will now come to an abrupt
