Two Feet From Death by oneinsixbillion

After an 8.5 mile hike from Curry Village in Yosemite National Park, my two close friends, their father, and I reached the top of Half Dome.  There's this rock ledge called the "king's chair" where you can dangle your feet, and right below your feet is a 4800' vertical drop.  Sitting on that rock got my heart pumping.  It was an amazing experience, being only two feet away from dropping straight to your death.  But getting this shot made it worth the risk.  And the 8.5 mile hike.
