Fascination of Life and Modernization
fredrickjay
This photo was taken in the summer of 2010. It was captured while my fellow photographer friend Cori and I went on a visit to an abandond paper mill in Chagrin Falls, OH. Besides the dangerous chemicals and broken floorboards, the place itself was still somewhat habitable even after ten years of being shut down. I took this particular shot as we were about to head back outside from a creepy basement location, which housed huge chemical vats. This photo is genreally SOOC (straight out of camera), but in Lightroom I adjusted the contrast a bit, as to over expose the outside and give a nice silhouette of Cori, as well as the detailed walls. I feel that this gives a bit of wonder to the photo, as well as a bit of a sharpness. Hope you all enjoy :)
