during my youth i was a member of the australian airforce cadets. one thing i realised very quicly was that it was a second family for misfits.. but no matter how hopeless anyone of them might have been at school they could almost always find a place in the cadets. as such im a big supporter of the cadet systems around the world, wether it be the AAFC, the Hong Kong Air cadets, or the civial air patrol in the US. i think every teen should try it because its never wat anyone expects
