Map of The World

I first saw this man in Orlando Florida a couple of months ago.
When I first saw him I knew I had to take his portrait. He has the kind of face that tells a story without any words...this is the kind of photograph that is worth a thousand words.
Taking this portrait wasn't easy, but it was worth the hassle.
When I first saw him, I approached him and asked if I could take his portrait. He insisted that I pay him. I thought it was fair enough, but I had left my money in the car which was located a few blocks away.
So I ran back to the car and grabbed a few bucks to give this man. When I got back to where I last saw him he disappeared. I was determined to take his portrait, so I walked around downtown Orlando looking for him. Eventually I found him. I got down and handed him some money. He sat back and allowed me to take his portrait, and it came out almost perfect.
I decided to turn this into a diptych. So I snapped a shot of bokeh, an out of focus photo of lights.
I wanted to add the bokeh because I wanted to give an idea of the location I took this, but I didn't want to draw too much attention to the location so that's why I decided to make the photo on the left out of focus.
The location was very busy, and this man sat in the middle of it all in order to survive.
So that is the story behind this photograph. If you have any questions please leave a comment.
