Freedom of expression is nothing more than a lie. This photograph is one of my most personal works as I can deeply relate to the feeling that is embedded in it. The plain, messy, and nothing but ordinary background is just to show our everyday lives, and the character being very elaborate and surreal, embodies some of our deepest feelings.
