I wrote this song because i know this topic is very important right now to me and to many of you reading this. Being a gay male, growing up wasnt the easiest thing in the world. I had all the same troubles these young kids are having and all the same feelings that they're going through. I was bullied every day of my life, and kicked around like a piece of trash left on the street. I always kept moving forward and believing in my self no matter what the outcome. I had dreams of becoming a singer and sharing my voice & music with the world. Even until today im still working hard at making my dream come true. Life is so short, why make it shorter? You have to remember that things, maybe not right now at this current moment..But they do indeed get better. I love the friends that ive made throughout my life &  i love and adore my family who i never thought would be so understanding. They support me 110% in everything i do. Please dont give up. If your reading this, there are ways around it. Dont feel like your alone, because i was down that same road and i have realized that there are many people feeling the same way as i felt out there in this world, and together we have to be there for one another and make a difference. We cant continue to lose these beautiful people. We need to stand up and stop this hate. It really is not worth it. Be strong and brush the negativity right off your shoulders and say to yourself, I dont have the problem...They Do! and live your life and become all that you've ever dreamed of.
