November - Original by Heather Janssen

Hey I'm Heather J, I'm 16, and aside from
having a geeky love for Geography, I tend to document my life in music notes
and sentences that seem to come right from the heart. I taught myself guitar at the age of 13, and began writing songs with my
best friend about girl empowerment at the age of 8. I learned piano here and
there, and have been singing ever since I got up on my piano bench and sang
Veggie Tales for my family talent show. If for some awesome reason you want to know more about me, just check
out my youtube music channel, where I post original songs that people seem to
really like, and covers by my favourite artists! I've got this crazy love for God, and somehow, to be honest, he's the
one that's always reminding me that this whole music business isn't just for my
sake. Keep up with the journey by subscribing :) All my love, Heather J xo
lyrics:
november sighs
she puts her headphones on and moves away cause its,
been like this since this past september
She's wished and tried,
To stop this fighting from coming alive but she's,
Reminded that time serves it all justice
She counts every calorie and does the math
chorus:
November,
I know exactly what you're going through,
The closest people to you may be falling through,
Just know you're not alone,
Oh December's,
creeping up faster than you'd ever want it to,
But just know that this next year will bring something new,
You'll still be young and scared,
But I know there's a fire somewhere in there.
Novembers confused,
Her best friend's talking about her behind her back,
And she doesnt know, how to bring this up.
She feels used,
One minute she's wishing for a guy,
and the next, he broke her heart.
And she never saw it coming
She could care less bout school and more for her dream.
(chorus)
bridge:
she doesnt want jealousy,
wants someone to see her for everything she can be,
She never knew that such a dream would take a dream
Everything seems so much more than what it is,
She disagrees with the opinions of her friends,
Cause this whole world seems shallow, and she sees something brighter,
She wish she knew how to deal with the small attacks,
She wish she knew the magic words to fighting back,
November's such a happy person, but she doesnt want to tell the truth.
(chorus)
After two months,
with the sun shining down and the grace of God surrounding,
She finally found herself.
Yeah times get tough
But that summer tought her more than anything she's ever written she may,
Not realize it, but deep down she knows exactly what to do.
