The song has actually been recorded three different times, mainly because I wasn't satisfied with my first two tries. It was originally purely acoustic but when I started the recording process for the third time, I decided to make it more interesting by combining the acoustic sound with that of electronic synths and strings. Only the vocals, guitar, and base violin parts are recorded live and everything else is generated using midi or an external synthesizer.
Some people think it sounds like a remix and I tell them the synths are the only thing that make me satisfied with this song.
