I wrote this song a few months ago. My influences for this song was George Jones & Conway Twitty. I've enjoyed singing & playing their music through the years.

My inspiration for this song was just thinking about the good old country songs that George & Conway, as well as Johnny Cash have recorded in the past. A lot of our country songs on the radio now sound more like soft rock than the old country classics. I wanted to write a song that had that old country feeling.
