Hi everyone,

So this video was recorded by my shaky-handed younger sister Denise on June 17th, 2011.

*About the performance*:

I attended a workshop+contest for singer-songwriter called Compose & Perform, where musicians help out beginning singer-songwriter with composing music for their originals.

The workshop was held during daytime and in the evening all contestants/participants had to perform what they had been working on.

I was very nervous because it was actually my first time performing on a stage, in front of people I didn't know, with a band and with a microphone!

So it was a bunch of FirstTime's all wrapped in one performance! (^_^)

*About the song*:

I wrote 'What you did to me' a while ago, a few weeks after my ex-boyfriend broke up with me....again! (I was such a dummy for falling for his lies each and every single time! "I've changed.." Yeah right!)

I realized that him breaking up with me for the 6th time was actually a good thing, it opened my eyes (finally!).

AND it inspired me to write this song and secretly I'm pretty proud of myself!! YAY
