A song I wrote on 4/21/08 for my then 19 month old daughter. This video was made immediately after writing the song on 4/21/08 and documents the creation. Story behind the song: Sometimes songs just hit me and flood into my head. Such was the case with this song.

It was 4/21/08 and I was out with my wife, son, and little 19 month old daughter. I was shadowing her and then picked her up and she touched my nose and laughed. That was the moment this song came to me. I spent the rest of that outing forming the song in my mind struggling to hang on to it and running it over and over. When I got home hours later I immediately grabbed pen and paper and wrote down lyrics in no particular order.

Then I went to my studio and arranged each verse in a good order rejecting about 3 verses. BTW, I made no changes at all to lyric content because I wanted it to remain pure. I then made one of the verses work as a chorus. After I had it arranged lyrically I then turned the camera on and starting making up some music. Literally recording myself creating the song. I used up almost a full hour of tape but by the end I had a completed version and that is what I'm sharing with you here. I've never had a song come so quickly before.
