Lost In The Digital Age & Flying free, part 1 [v2] by JoeDestruction

This is a two part video for one new song (if you can call it that!) and one old song that I've made a new video for.

 

The first portion of the video is a strange little piece that I've put together called "Lost In The Digital Age" and it's my own personal [psychedelic] rambling about how things change, and how easy it is to get left behind and forget what direction you were headed in. It is voice coupled with digital voice and other audio trickery (that's the fun part!) and while it has a rhythm track to the 'music' it's somewhat in spite of the rhythm (there more for weirdness!)

In most cases progress (also open to interpretation) is a good thing, but in some cases it seems that the past is diminished to some degree when no one remembers or learns from the past and choas (again) ensues. [BREAK THE CYCLE!!!]

 

The second portion of the video is a remake of a video that I made quite awhile ago. The song is called "Flying Free part 1" which is a remix I made from my a mono tape of my old band. I remixed the audio to give it a stereo feel, then I added sound effects for my usual psychedelic weirdness. I remade the video for this song using public domain pictures (nice and legal) and a little enhancement on the audio since some of the old stuff, even remixed, sounds a little thin and needed a little help.

 

I have really been enjoying Yobi.TV and all of the great artists/musicians/film makers, etc. that have shared their material. Hopefully others will enjoy my weirdness as much as I enjoy producing it and viewing everyone else's material. If not then I still had fun, and life is too short to not have fun! Thanks for taking the time to watch and listen.
