Everything I Needed by Emily Fralick (Original Song/Studio Acoustic!)
thursday1016
A cute little song. I wrote this when I had just turned 16, but I've improved upon it a bit lyrically and guitar-wise since then. Lyrics:
How can I try to explain in a few simple words just how I feel?
'Cause there's not enough time in this song
Nor enough words in the world, no
To make this seem real
As the hours, they turn into days
I still love you in so many ways
And my mind may roam, but my heart stays
But now with a dozen roses, our hearts unfrozen
And I'm still hoping I'm everything you wanted in me
You're everything I wanted to be
Not even a million kisses fulfill my wishes
Now I'm done fishing
I've found everything I needed in you
You're more than I could hope for, it's true
I'll take all the things that may come
'Cause they're so worth my while
Yeah, you're just too right
When you sleep, when you talk, when you smile...
You know that I count my blessings with all of my might
I watch the days, they turn into years
And baby well, you're still drowning all of my fears
And I would not sing if not sincere
People may laugh at how I need you
And others may try, but they'll never be you
You've got me dreaming up songs,
I'm moving along
I'm more than just fine with you in my life
I love you so far, the way that you are
You're mine
