I recorded this song one afternoon in June of 2008.  I'd had the C#min-B-F# riff in my head for some time prior to that, unsure of how to incorporate it.  Then it clicked.  It's funny how things like that work.

Amidst the copious amounts of garbage, food scraps, and other debris that canvassed my desktop at the time was a Pizza Hut ad.  It exhaulted a new promo that boasted "More of What You Love".  I took the phrase seriously.

I have known many people that seemed to be waiting for their life to arrive, and it never made sense to me.  In regards to my writing, I had become tired of trying to mask subtle messages with figurative language and plays on words.  So I decided to write lyrics that were frank and to the point. 

Now go and vote for me so I can win this thing and keep my painfully fragile ego intact.
