i seen a brown bear about the same age a this one i got about 50 ft to it. he was on the side of the road digging up the ground looking for bugs. i'm not sure but he might have been a gizzly bear this was at the rocky mountains in canada the mother was not around ether. i think at the age the mother abandons them.
