Polyester Hair - original song by Vicky Payne

Some people seem so wrapped up in getting ready for life that they forget to actually live it. LYRICS:- Her hair is half polyester eye make-up like Uncle Fester. Tango skin to an oompa loompa's shade. Starts her routine in the morning when the sun is up and dawning till it starts to fade. So where'd my little sister go? This girl's putting on a show! I don't recognise her anymore. Spends all her day getting ready for an hour of living on the dancefloor. Polyester hair, blowing in the wind doesn't seem to care that it doesn't bring her joy. Inside she's dying and her soul can't carry on. Finally picked some clothes, re-powdered her nose weighed down in her gold couture & her only care is her polyester hair & the men that it's gonna lure. Polyester hair, blowing in the wind doesn't seem to care that it doesn't bring her joy. Inside she's dying and her soul can't carry on. So where'd my little sister go? This girl's putting on a show! I don't recognise her anymore. Spends all her day getting ready for an hour of living on the dancefloor. So now she's home, on the phone it don't seem so bad. Hope it's a fad & she ain't wasting away her youth. Polyester hair, blowing in the wind doesn't seem to care that it doesn't bring her joy. Inside she's dying and her soul won't carry on.
