TO THE PEACE CORPS AND TO ALL WAR VETERANS~WE THANK YOU ALL!!.I wrote this poem originally when New Orleans was sinking and watching the dogs being rescued off front porches and strangers hugging strangers offerring them hope. I thought of Afghanistan and the rest of the middle east and i just think it is up to us to remember more than once a year to thank them ALL!!!All over the world these brave men and women(Army Navy Marines and Air Force) are sent to piece together devastation when all hope seems lost.
