Child with no name
tomboy
If I had to describe what makes a good song, it would have to be the extent to which it moves me... to dance or laugh or cry or...
This is another heartbreaker, written by Nick Stuart. I think it was inspired by a conversation we had, but I am never quite sure with Nick. Anyway, I hope it moves you too. I promise the next song will be a bit jollier!
I lay in the arms of the moonlight
Searching for ways I could put right
The choices in life I have made.
If I could
Fall back to sleep oh just dream sweetly
Rhythms and rhymes of a heartbeat
The day of the first time we meet.
Will you forgive me
The things I have done?
Maybe a daughter or maybe a son?
We'll walk together and follow the sun
My child with no name.....
Where time goes?
I dream of the days of a wild rose
But I was too young to suppose
Or know everything would be fine.
You will forgive me
The thing I have done
Maybe my daughter or maybe my son
We'll walk together and follow the sun
My child with no name.
Midnight.
I lay in the arms of the moonlight
Searching for ways I could put right
The choices in life I have made
I have made......
