Stone Wall - David James Martinez
davidjamesmartinez
A tune I wrote 3 years ago when I was in Edinborough, Scotland. I hope y'all like it. I was quite emotional when I wrote this. Here are the lyics.
You can't blame me, for being who I use to be.
If I'm lazy, It's only
through entropy.
Though strangely, this room has changed to fill.
Your
mind, your mind, with Romeo's sleeping pill, Romeo's sleeping pill.
No
ever said it was a crime, but why do we feel, so wrong in being you in
being me.
It's not that I like, everything that you say or do.
But
I guess you're right, I was a wall I couldn't hear you.
Every time, I
turn aside, reminded by the loathsome tides, that you, you turned your
back on me.
Stone wall, stone wall, can anybody hear you, hear
you?
Stone wall, stone wall, can anybody feel you, feel you?
Through
these eyes, have passed, oh many things.
And these ears have heard,
many devilish things.
I think things twice, I'm not a saint, nor are
you, so who's to blame, in being you, in being me.
Stone wall,
stone wall, can anybody hear you, hear you?
Stone wall, stone wall,
can anybody feel you, feel you?
Stone wall, stone wall, you're like I
use to be.
Stone wall, stone wall, the difference between you and
me.
I would fall, I would fall, I would fall.
I would fall, I
would fall, I would fall.
