Since then by Kelly Ehlers
kehlers
This song is about finally seeing through my thick skull and insecurities full of lies... and how I listened and believe in my insecurities and now that I can see through my thick skull I know that they are lies... it corrupted how I viewed myself and through that it hurt others. This song helped me figure this out.
Since Then (capo'd on 2nd fret)
[Verse 1]
Since i've grown up a bit
and can see through this thick
skull of mine
I've chosen where to go
and somehow I just know
i'll be fine
[Chorus]
It's been so rough
I've been pushed & shoved
by my own mind
I beat myself up
till' i'm corrupt
in how I view my life
[Verse 2]
Since then i've learned to see
the good inside of me.
I once thought--
If I had only done
the right when I begun
instead I fought
[Chorus 2]
against whats right
refused the sight
that could have been mine
so much to gain
yet I chose the pain
and wasted all that time.
[Bridge]
It really makes no sense
To waste our existence
[Guitar solo]
[Chorus 1]
It's been so rough
I've been pushed & shoved
by my own mind
I beat myself up
till' i'm corrupt
in how I view my life.
...view my life.
