About Me...

I'm Derek,

I enjoy writing and playing music, it is also my release. I grew up in Oregon until I was about 8 years old then made our way to California" love the beach" and have been here ever since. I joined yobi because someone from livevideo" said "you should join,  you would like it " so I did and I do. I thought it would be a good way to express myself and enjoy others doing the same. I don't claim to be a great musician but I stay real to what I create. I'm not trying to empress anyone (well most the time). I'm just talking in the best way I can, "Through music", I go into another place when I sing and hope you take that journey with me, I dig company and respect and enjoy everyone I meet along the way.
