YOBISing Season 2
Week 27 Semifinalist

I started singing rather late... but I can't remember what I used to waste my time on before. I'm trying to make up for lost time now. I sing in a country (with a sprinking of jazz and blues) band here in Brighton (south of England), and  also in a 9-piece motown band. I play guitar and piano, both badly, and keep trying to write my own songs but have only managed to finish two so far. I find it hard to persevere with songwriting when there are so many wonderful songs that have been already written by others that I want to sing... why write my own second rate ones? But maybe it'll get easier with practice, maybe I need to say things my way... I do intend to finish more songs.

Description

This is another song that was written for me by Nick Stuart. I know I am very very lucky to have such a talented songwriter write songs for me!! We recorded this a few years ago but I've just made the video to go with it. I have discovered that I really enjoy making videos... this is only the 2nd. It is really just a collage of photos and video clips that happened to be on my computer, but all taken in Nova Scotia. Hope you enjoy it :)
