Hello. I've always loved singing and I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember. I'm not much of a musician, but I'm working on it.

I really love the way that the internet has given a stage to all the songwriters and singers of the world. Yobising is a great place to bring all those people together.

I'm originally from Wales, but I live in Japan now.

My influences are really diverse. Probably every song I've ever heard has influenced me in some way, but I really love Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Randy Newman, B.B. King, Elvis, The Eagles, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Brag, Wilco, 10,000 Maniacs, The Eels, J.J. Cale, Lou Reed, Ian Dury, James Brown, Mark Knopfler, Little Feat, Marvin Gaye, Nick Cave, Nick Drake, Radiohead, The Blue Aeroplanes, Tom Waits, Van Morrison, Golden Smog, John Lee Hooker, Prince, Billy Joel, Carole King, . Some Japanese artists that I like are Chara, Begin, Mr. Children, Kawashima Eigo, and Okuda Tamio.  On Youtube I've come across so many great songwriters, including Danny Knapp, Derek Everett and Woody Holmes. Of course, I love Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, The Super Furry Animals, Cerys Matthews, Frank Hennessy and every other Welsh person who ever sang a song! Particularly when 75,000 are singng at the Millenium Stadium. I've obviously missed a lot of fantastic artists from this list. Maybe I'll update it as I go.

If I'm not singing or playing music, I'm probably watching sport. I love most sports. I love rugby, football (soccer), and cricket. In Japan  I'm getting into baseball and sumo. I enjoy watching American Football, but I haven't gotten into basketball or ice hockey yet - it's probably only a matter of time.
